Here is a run down of some of the more commonly asked questions. We keep it short and to the point.

1Delivery Time and Shipping Fee

If you require products delivered by a certain date, please email guys@axeandsledge.co.za to verify your product availability. We charge a flat rate shipping fee of R150 for 2- 4 Day Nationwide Door to Door Delivery. Should you require more than 1 crate delivered please contact guys@axeandsledge.co.za to get a shipping quote. We reserve the right for delivery timing to change from time to time due to courier partner delays out of our control.

KZN and Gauteng: Next Day or Up to 2-Day Delivery.
Cape Town: 3-4 Day Delivery.
Outlying Area's: 2-Days or Up to 4-Day Delivery.

2Shipping Terms

Axe and Sledge is not responsible for lost, misplaced, or delayed shipments or damaged freight by the freight carriers after they have been dispatched. Axe and Sledge cannot be held responsible / liable for lost or stolen packages that have delivery confirmation to the address that was provided. The customer accepts full responsibility to file any claim(s) with carrier for damaged and/or lost shipments. We are not responsible for mis-delivery errors via carrier, or incorrect shipping info.

3Order Cancellation

All orders can be canceled until they are shipped. If your order has been paid and you need to change or cancel it, you must contact us on guys@axeandsledge.coza within 30 minutes. Once the packaging and shipping process has started, it can no longer be canceled.

4Return policy

If you’re not totally satisfied with any part of your purchase or gifting experience for any reason at all, please let us know. Our customer service team are well trained little ninjas ready to solve your problems quickly, efficiently and with as little fuss as possible. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

5Payment Processing

All orders are processed via Payfast and all payments reference Addison Collection PTY LTD trading as Axe&Sledge. PAYGATE: 1. Detailed description of goods and/or services Axe and Sledge is a business in the online retail industry that provides gifts . 2. Delivery policy Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 2 days and delivery confirmed by way of email. 3. Export restriction The offering on this website is available to South African clients only. 4. Return and Refunds policy The provision of goods and services by Axe and Sledge is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Axe and Sledge will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 5% administration fee. 5. Customer Privacy policy Axe and Sledge shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from: http://www.lawsofsouthafrica.up.ac.za/index.php/current-legislation. 6. Payment options accepted Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard. 7. Card acquiring and security Card transactions will be acquired for Axe and Sledge via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy. 8. Customer details separate from card details Customer details will be stored by Axe and Sledge separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za. 9. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR). 10. Responsibility Axe and Sledge takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods. 11. Country of domicile This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Axe and Sledge chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature Axe and Sledge. 12. Variation Axe and Sledge may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice. 13. Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
